March, 2009: When i put together the last version of my gallery, I thought I'd found something special. The new gallery format used databases and had it's own little administrator section where I could upload pictures, the script would make thumbnails instantly, and people could post comments for each picture I added. I thought that it would be easy to use and would encourage me to update the page more. It didn't. Updating was easy but the more I added to the page, the less I felt like adding to the page. I felt the gallery was starting to bloat and it was hard for people to zero in on what they wanted without using the search. It was also hard to customize.
I've still got a bit to do on the page. I want to add more pictures to the galleries over the next week or two, as soon as I get the ok from the people who commissioned me for it. I'm still checking links and the sizes of pictures to make sure they're not too big. I also want to add an audio page with some recent voice work I've done. I've been getting into that a bit more and want to share. Everything else is just tweaks that I'll most likely forget to do. I'm hoping that if you find an error on the site somwhere, you'll e-mail me about it.
